Privacy policy

What the app stores about you
The app has no user accounts. You do not enter a name, e-mail address or password. When you use it, our server stores:
- A device ID — a random identifier the app generates on first launch. It is not your phone's hardware ID, advertising ID or phone number and cannot be linked to you by us.
- A push token issued by Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, if you allow notifications. It lets us send pushes to your device and is replaced whenever Firebase rotates it.
- Platform and language of the device (for example "android", "de") and the time the app last contacted the server.
- Your favorites and notification choices — the leagues and teams you mark in the app and the games you switch notifications on or off for — so they survive reinstalls and so push notifications match what you asked for.
Nothing else is collected. The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking SDK; it uses Firebase only to deliver push notifications.
Why we use this data
- To show you the content you chose (favorites) and to deliver push notifications about games (lineup available, throw-off, final result).
- To operate and secure the service (server logs with request data, such as the IP address, are kept for a short period for troubleshooting).
Legal basis under the GDPR: the performance of the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in running it securely (Art. 6(1)(f)). Notifications are sent only if you grant the permission on your device; you can revoke it in the system settings at any time.
Third parties
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.) delivers push notifications. Google processes the push token and the message content for that purpose. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Sports data (fixtures, results, lineups, statistics) comes from licensed sports data providers. No personal data of yours is shared with them.
- Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Your device record and favorites stay until you delete them (see below) or until the device has not contacted the server for a long time, after which we may remove it. Push tokens that Firebase reports as invalid are removed immediately.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict its processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold no name or address, write to quadriq.apps@gmail.com (see delete my data) and we delete everything stored for your device.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 16 and collects no data that identifies a person.
Changes
We will update this page when the app's data handling changes; the date at the top tells you when.
